Built by a maker,
for makers.
That & Moore started as a personal obsession with CNC work and getting cabinet design right — and grew into a service for every maker who's ever thought, “there has to be a better way to figure this out."
We're a small, focused operation. One maker, one workshop, a CNC, a 3D printer, and a genuine belief that good design shouldn't require a contractor's rolodex or a design school degree. Cabinetry is our specialty.

Where this started.
The name "That and Moore" is a nod to the way most creative projects actually work — you start with one thing, and then there's that, and then there's more. One cabinet leads to a whole kitchen. One 3D printed bracket leads to a whole workshop's worth of custom hardware.
The business grew out of years of personal projects, a lot of mistakes, and the realization that the hardest part of most cabinet builds isn't the building — it's the designing. Getting the dimensions right. Figuring out what joinery to use. Deciding whether to go face-frame or frameless. Knowing what you don't know.
3D printing entered the picture as a natural extension of the workshop. When you can't find the hardware you need, you make it. When a jig doesn't exist, you print one. When a client needs a prototype part before committing to a full build, a 3D printer is the fastest way to find out if the idea works.
That & Moore exists to give homeowners, DIY builders, and small-scale makers access to the same design thinking and practical expertise that used to require either a lot of expensive professional help or years of trial and error.
What we believe about good design.
Practical over perfect
A design that you can actually build with your tools, your budget, and your skill level is worth more than a theoretically perfect design that never gets made.
Honest about limitations
We'll tell you when something is a bad idea, when a DIY approach doesn't make sense, or when you'd be better served by a different solution. That's what you're paying for.
Details matter
The difference between a cabinet that looks right and one that looks great is usually a handful of small decisions — proportion, hardware, reveal dimensions. We sweat those details.
Your idea, your project
We're here to help you realize your vision, not impose ours. Your submitted designs, sketches, and files remain your intellectual property. Full stop.

What we actually do.
We're not a full-service cabinet shop. We don't build and install. What we do is CNC files, design, and 3D printing — and we do it well. Cabinetry is our specialty. Here's what that looks like in practice:
- CNC-ready files and custom cabinetry design concepts
- 3D printed functional parts, hardware, and custom products
- CNC and design consultation for your existing concepts
- Material, toolpath, and construction method recommendations
- Downloadable CNC files, plans, and 3D print files for members
- Weekly educational content on CNC, 3D printing, and making
Let's work on something together.
Whether you have a fully formed concept or just a vague idea and a tape measure, we're happy to help you figure out the next step.
