  • Project information: Descriptions, dimensions, photos, sketches, and design files you submit as part of a service request or consultation.
  • Payment information: Processed securely through our third-party payment processor. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.
  • Usage data: Anonymous analytics data including pages visited, time on site, and referral source. Collected via privacy-respecting analytics tools.

How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to your inquiries and service requests
  • To deliver design concepts, 3D prints, and consultation services
  • To manage your membership account and deliver member content
  • To send relevant updates about your project or membership (you can opt out at any time)
  • To improve our services and website experience

Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share information with trusted service providers (e.g., payment processors, email services) solely to deliver our services. We will disclose information if required by law.

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill legal obligations. Project files are retained for 12 months after project completion unless you request earlier deletion.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

Terms of Service

By using the That and Moore website and services, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.

Services Provided

That and Moore provides cabinet design concepts, 3D printed products, design consultation services, and paid membership content. All services are subject to availability and the specific terms outlined in your project agreement.

Service Requests

Submitting a service request form does not constitute a binding agreement. A project begins only when both parties have confirmed scope, timeline, and pricing. We reserve the right to decline any project request.

Accuracy of Information

You are responsible for providing accurate dimensions, descriptions, and project details. Design concepts are based on the information you provide. Errors in provided measurements or specifications are not our responsibility.

Payment Terms

Payment terms are established at project confirmation. Membership fees are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis. All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated.

Limitation of Liability

That and Moore provides design concepts and consulting services only. We are not responsible for construction, installation, or any damages resulting from the use of our designs. Our designs are conceptual and should be reviewed by a qualified professional before construction.

Modifications

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated via email to active members and clients.

Digital Downloads Policy

Members with Workshop (Tier 2) and Studio (Tier 3) memberships have access to downloadable plans, files, and resources. The following terms apply:

License & Usage

  • Downloaded files are licensed for your personal use and personal projects only.
  • You may modify downloaded files for your own projects.
  • You may not redistribute, resell, share publicly, or sublicense downloaded files.
  • You may not claim authorship of downloaded designs or files.

Commercial Use

If you wish to use downloaded plans or files for commercial purposes (e.g., building cabinets for sale using our plans), please contact us to discuss a commercial license.

File Availability

We make reasonable efforts to keep all files available, but we reserve the right to update, modify, or remove files from the library at any time. Downloaded files remain yours to use per these terms.

Refunds on Digital Content

Due to the nature of digital downloads, individual file purchases are non-refundable once downloaded. Membership cancellation terms apply separately (see Refund & Cancellation Policy above).

Consultation Terms

The following terms apply specifically to our design consultation service.

Scope of Consultation

A design consultation includes a review of your existing concept, identification of design challenges, material and construction recommendations, and a written summary of findings. It does not include the creation of new design drawings or plans (that's our Cabinet Design service).

Preparation

To get the most value from a consultation, please provide as much detail as possible in your request form: sketches, measurements, photos of the space, and specific questions. The quality of our feedback depends on the quality of information you provide.

Deliverables

  • Written summary of recommendations and observations
  • Material and construction method suggestions
  • Honest assessment of DIY feasibility
  • Follow-up Q&A via email (within 5 business days of delivery)

Limitations

Consultation feedback is advisory only. We are not licensed architects, structural engineers, or general contractors. Our recommendations should be reviewed by qualified professionals before construction, especially for load-bearing or structural modifications.

IP & Usage Policy for Submitted Ideas/Files

We take intellectual property seriously. Here's how we handle the designs, sketches, photos, and files you share with us.

Your Intellectual Property

  • Your designs remain yours. Sketches, concepts, measurements, photos, and files you submit as part of a service request or consultation remain your intellectual property.
  • We do not claim ownership of any materials you submit.
  • We will not share your submitted materials with third parties without your explicit written consent.

Our Work Product

  • Design concepts, drawings, and files we create for your project are delivered to you for your use upon full payment.
  • We retain the right to reference the general nature of completed projects in our portfolio (e.g., "kitchen cabinet design") without revealing proprietary details, unless you opt out.
  • Membership content (plans, files, videos) remains the intellectual property of That and Moore and is licensed for personal use per the Digital Downloads Policy.

Confidentiality

We treat all submitted project information as confidential. We will not publicly share your project details, photos, or design files without your explicit permission.

Acceptable Use & Community Guidelines

That and Moore membership includes access to community discussions and forums. To keep the community useful and respectful, the following guidelines apply:

Be Respectful

Treat other members the way you'd want to be treated in a shared workshop. Disagreement is fine; personal attacks, harassment, and disrespectful behavior are not.

Stay On Topic

Keep discussions relevant to cabinet design, woodworking, 3D printing, making, and related topics. Off-topic posts may be moved or removed.

No Spam or Self-Promotion

Do not use the community to advertise products or services. Sharing your own projects and builds is encouraged; selling to other members is not.

Respect Intellectual Property

Do not share, redistribute, or repost membership content (plans, files, videos) outside the community. Do not share other members' project photos or designs without their permission.

Enforcement

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate membership accounts that violate these guidelines. First offenses will typically receive a warning; repeated violations may result in permanent removal.
